Awesome(: I’m a cheerleader & gymnast so I know what your going through. I didn’t start until 3 years ago (now I have my handspring full, etc.)
But I also am a flyer.
I had to get my splits over the summer or they would pull me out of the air.
So I did a similar routine everyday. i do it everyday now!

I thought this was helpful just because I don’t normally do some of the stretches you did here, I will defiantly do them from now on!

@missham101 I have filmed a pointe video, it should be up soon! I really wish that I could do more dance videos but I really don’t have the room in my house. I only got to do this video because we are getting new furniture and there is nothing in the room. At dance competitions they don’t film your dance so I can’t upload anything like that! “)

@DancingFashion I’m looking forward to it! I’ve been doing pointe for a year and a half now but I’m still not very good. I also live in Australia and am actually doing a ballet exam tomorrow. I was just wondering what kind of ballet do you do? B.B.O or RAD they seem to be the most popular ones in Australia

I’m not a dancer nor can I dance, however I do wish to become more flexible. I workout on bars and a lot of the stuff that I’ll progress to demand flexibility. Would you say these stretches are an universal way to become loose? If so do you already have a basic routine or could you possibly make one? Ta.

I’m not a dancer anymore, because I just can’t afford it (I did jazz/modern, streetstyle and ballet) and since I had to quit completely I’ve lost ALL my flexibility and strength. And I believe you just showed me the perfect routine for flexibilty (until now I just did three days here’n'there of trying splits and then giving up. But this is more detailed, more something that can become a routine(I love my routines)) So, um, thanks
